The Dutch Journal of Physics is a three-monthly English-language magazine about physics research done in the Netherlands (for tablets only). With this magazine the Netherlands Physical Society (Nederlandse Natuurkundige Vereniging, NNV) aims to reach out to the non-Dutch speaking physics community, be it in industry, at research institutes, or at universities.

The NNV, with over 4,000 members, is the third largest physical society of Europe. It represents 25 to 30% of all physicists in the Netherlands, working in all sectors, from academia to high school education, and from industry to government organisations. The NNV connects these various communities of physicists by sharing information through its publications and symposia, and aims at promoting the interest of physics in society.

The Dutch Journal of Physics contains a selection of relevant contributions from the Dutch-language Nederlands Tijdschrift voor Natuurkunde.
If you are interested in staying informed of developments, policy, and progress in the community of physics in the Netherlands and you support the goals of the society, we invite you to register as a member of the NNV on the webpage https://www.nnv.nl/en/Individuals/.
